Africa here we are!

We have made it to South Africa.
Flight was good, premium economy worth the extra cost.
Linen napkins, glass not plastic for drinks, great food.

Johanesburg looks good from our motel window.......
see more in the morning.

Dinner was 221 Rand, 2 jack daniels,beef stroganoff, beef lasagne.
The food was beautiful!
And that worksout to $36 Aust.

Was good to see every one last night.

Another step closer...... we purchased a little car for us to run around in before we go, which will then go to Ebbony on our departure.
It is a 2002 Barina that runs beautifully, straight as an arrow, but faded paint.
We put some elbow grease and good old fashioned cut & polish to bring it back. Looks Great now.
Ebbony has named it Barbera Barina. She is over the moon.

Another garage sale today...... getting over them!
Got rid of a bit though.

So it is all locked in.
We leave Mackay 2pm on the 28th Sept. Overnight in Sydney
29th we fly to Johanesburg, stay overnight.
30th we fly into Maun at midday.
