Gaborone..... The Capital

We stayed at the company guest house in Gaborone.
It is in the suburb of Phukalane, the wealthy side of town.
5 bed rooms, 6 bathrooms, maids quarters.
The maid cooks you breakfast each morning, cleans, washes your clothes.
There is also the company driver on hand if you need to get anywhere.

Not sure what we will do if we ever get back to Australia, getting used to this sort of lifestyle. Even at home we have our cleaner in twice a week and the yard boy 5 days a week, don't even have to wash the car anymore!

Gaborone (or Gabs) is a great city to visit (but we have been in the sticks for a while).
Shopping centres, cinemas, restaurants, and the general "life" of a small city.

Next post will show Mokolodi, the game reserve in town.

  1. Not a bad place to stay when you are in Gaborone. You will certainly come back down to earth rapidly when you return to Australia. One of our friends from Wongawilli was telling us today that her brother lived in Gabarone for 16 years, had his own business. Loved the lifestyle there. Keep enjoying and keep posting.
